4-5-2005 - The Full Text of Bob Fu’s Speech on April 5 at UNCHR Plenary Session CAA Leader Speaks at UNCHR General Assembly on Religious Intolerance, China Officials Mocked for Retaliation with Procedural Tactic
A Women’s Voice International
Speaker: Xiqiu “Bob” Fu
Intervention: Item 11, Religious Intolerance
April 5, 2005
Mr. Chairman, A Woman’s Voice International (AWVI) would like to draw to the attention of this Commission the plight of three leaders of the Chinese house church movement who have experienced persecution at the hands of state authorities in the People’s Republic of China: Cai Zhuohua, Gong Shengliang and Chen Jingmao.
Cai Zhuohua, Christian pastor from Beijing, was arrested September 11, 2004, by National Security operatives, for printing “illegal religious literature.” Cai’s wife, Xiao Yunfei was also arrested November 27, 2004. This case, according to the Chinese Government newspaper, is labeled the most serious case of foreign religious infiltration since the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
According to the China Aid Association, Cai’s arrest was a directive from the highest level of the Communist Party, as expressed in a secret document released by a Woman’s Voice International during a parallel session this past week. According to a recently released fellow inmate, Pastor Cai was repeatedly tortured by electric shocks and was forced to falsely confess, which could lead to a ten to fifteen year prison sentence under the current criminal code. The Chinese government has repeatedly threatened his attorney not to defend him.
AWVI believes this case will set a precedent for freedom of the press and freedom of religion in China and will help determine how the Chinese constitutional laws which are supposed to guarantee such freedoms are actually defined.
Gong Shengliang was sentenced to life in prison October 10, 2002, by the Court Hubei Province. He is now being held at Section Four, Te Yi Hao, Miaoshan Development Zone, Jiangxia District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. This case involved the arrest and sentencing of many women of Pastor Gong’s church who were tortured into falsely accusing Gong of rape.
According to eyewitness reports, Gong’s mental and physical health has suffered due to the harsh treatment in prison. AWVI accepts the testimony that indicates Gong was framed, and considers the prospect of a life sentence, coupled with the other irregularities and abuses in this case, an outrage against justice.
Chen Jingmao, age 74, of Chongqing City, was sentenced October 10, 2002, to four years in prison for sending his granddaughter to a Bible class training school. Chen is now being held in Sanxia Prison, Chongqing City. He is reported to be in very poor health and will die in prison if he is not released soon.
Though China has amended its constitution to protect human rights, these three cases exemplify both the arbitrary nature of what passes for justice in the People’s Republic of China and the sad state of religious freedom there. AWVI calls upon all Members of this Commission to urge China to release Gong Shengliang, Cai Zhuohua and Chen Jingmao without delay. We further ask the Commission to hold China accountable for upholding the freedoms of thought, conscience, religion and belief for all its citizens. Finally, we call upon the Commission to use all the tools at its disposal to convince China to cooperate with UN mechanisms and to desist from persecuting religious minorities.

This is a milestone in the fight for human rights. Sadly the Chinese delegates “mocked” the reasonable appeal of Bob Fu.

The only propaganda here is religious propaganda. Religion being merely an institution of lies, myths and superstition. Why do we tolerate religion? We shouldn’t. However religion has always been used to usurp nations, indigenious people from their rightful lands by supplanting their true racial identities with false ones, and geopolitical polarization. From Chinese (which is what they truly are) they are falsely led to believe that they are Christian Chinese and should support Western post-colonial agendas. From Chinese, they may become Muslim Chinese in support of Iran and Emirates sinister plans to dominate all of Asia turning each country into a muslim fanatical nation.
This site is small fry compared to government (UK, US) sponsored propaganda sites like BBC and Epoch Times. The point of conflict is you guessed it. Religion. Their excuse, to assert the rights of foreign nationalities bent on usurping any nation (namely China) or one of its territories, and to deny the rightful heirs to the nation namely the Chinese people themselves proper (without the religious affix or should that be afflictions).
The very basis of all religion has always been unproven myth, lies and metaphysical nonsense. Am I to take the words of these people on any current news event as the truth?
From allegations of torture or imprisonment for demanding (yes DEMANDING) special rights and privileges not as an individual but as a body that originates outside that country in question. No I choose to believe that these people are filthy liars always with an ulterior sinister motive. Buddhism itself is also a foreign element not from China. Its origins lie in India. Islam (Uighur) originates from Iran, Mecca and all the Emirate countries that have been taken by such a deceitful ploy (the most recent success of these vermin can be seen in the declaration of indepence of Kosovo).
“There is only true freedom. Freedom FROM religion.” Do not let these scum twist these words otherwise. Freedom from being influenced by these power hungry scum. Freedom from its dominion. Freedom from being misled by lies, myths, and con-man chicanery that is commonplace among their ilk. Often quoting from their garbage religious text (Which hold non-sensical generic nonsense, falsified events with real places to obtain credibility…etc. Shameless.) and of all things they purport to understand. Why then do we have science if these religious figures have all the answers?
Their second tactic involves labelling an “evil”. Communism is evil. Not it is not. It is an inefficient means to govern a nation, but so is a Democracy. They will then associate all things extremist to that system of government namely nationalism. Oh, but it’s okay if the Democratic nations do it under the synonymous word “pariotism”. And when they attack another country under the guise of liberating that country, what they are really doing is the old time practice of conquering yet another nation in order to fuel their plans for economic expansion, i.e., “making allies” against some “evil”.
They control the media, and are an active participant in the dissemination of lies to further influence your neutral assumptions of things. They would like to control what you see, hear, or have an opinion on or against (or purport to since they would like you to view it from their point of view). I’m not talking about China FYI, although they do it as well, but this has only been reactive to the pro-aggresive actions taken by those violent against China and its sovereign right to rule its own country with NO obesiance to jewish-christian-catholic, islamic, buddhist charlatans. China for Chinese instead of China for Christians, Muslims, Buddhist (falungong ding dongs / nepal-mongoloid halfbreed tibetans as a race? lol). A nation with less liars. I can see no wrong in their motives.
