Dear Brother Bike & family & church family,
We are keeping you in our prayers night and day. Don’t forget II Cor 2:16. The smell of garbage may be bad, but remember that we are the fragrance of Christ! We pray for comfort and peace for your hearts, and continuing courage and strength in your actions. We have contacted our Senator and a Senator we know from another state to send our objections to your treatment.
To those in authority to make these decisions in Beijing:
Surely you bring shame and embarassment on your great country when you act in this manner. You provide evidence for those who would say that you are not civilized! Please reconsider such ill-advised actions and improve your standing in the eyes of the world!

I also wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you at China Aid for your tireless efforts to keep us informed and able to bring our prayers more accurately and effectively into the “throne room of grace.” We are so grateful for all you do!

Thank you China Aid for keeping me informed of Zhang Jian’s condition, I am so grateful to the Lord that he has regained consciousness and spoke with Bob Fu.
I don’t know how to express the pain I feel in my heart when my brothers and sisters in Christ are treated so inhumanely. I keep asking Abba what is wrong with these people?
May the LORD God shower the Zhang family with His mercy, grace and His unfailing love to strengthen them all through this terrible time.
Thank you to Kristi for your words of encouragement: May the fragrance of Christ blossom in the Zhang family affecting all of their persecutors.
Abba, change the heart of China’s leaders. Pursue each of them as relentlessly as You have pursued the rest of us.
God bless the Zhang family and their church family.

I am praying daily for the Zhang family and have also written letters to the Chinese embassy in Australia, [where I live] and also as suggested, to Washington. I am so relieved to know that Zhang Jian has regained consciousness and I pray for full recovery of his sight. Abba, may your Holy Spirit comfort, restore and strengthen Jian and his family, renew their courage, still their anxiety and fear, and enable them to sleep securely and in peace each night. Thank you China Aid for keeping me informed so my prayers can be more on target.

My Chinese version of James 1:2-5 did not print on the response. So I submit again in English. Sorry.
2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
5 If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

I praise God for your faith and endurance to remain on the path for Him and His cause. You must continue to endure because of our eternal life we will spend with our heavenly Father. Our life here is temporary (thank God). Meditate on I Peter 5:7 — Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you.
Love in Christ,
Susan

God Who sees and knows all things will reward you openly. Those who do what is right will inherit eternal life. Those who do what is evil will be condemned. This world is only a passing shadow. The true riches are in the house He has gone ahead to prepare for you. Your reward will be very great. Jesus said, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is your reward in heaven. For so they presecuted the prophets wo were before you” (Matthew 5;11-12). You have been in my prayers.

I am deeply troubled to hear of you horrible treatment by the China police. I will keep you in my prayers that your faith will remain strong and all your fears will be quieted. Your Father’s Bike ministry has often been mentioned and prayed for in our church. May this be an opportunity to work for the salvation of many souls when they hear of you dedication and love for the LORD. May the God who heals, heal your face and your heart.
In Christ,
Karen
