China Aid President, Bob Fu, will testify before the Congressional Human Rights Caucus at a briefing on the state of human rights in the People’s Republic of China at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, in 2200 Rayburn HOB.  This event is open to the public and the media.

April 24, 2008 - Annual Spring Fundraiser

CAA is hosting the 2nd Annual Spring Fundraiser in Midland, TX. Hear the testimony of Bob Fu, a brief history of the Church in China, and what the future holds for the Chinese church and China Aid Association.

November 17, 2006
Four of China’s most prominent Christian human rights defenders arrived at Washington D.C. to provide briefings on issues including the freedoms of religion and expression and the rule of law in China. Invited by the China Aid Association, the delegation met with representatives of the White House National Security Council and the State Department and members of Congress. They also participated in a forum with the dean and faculty of New York University School of Law. CAA plans to make this an annual event.

June/July, 2006
CAA brought 20 Chinese house church leaders to Midland, Texas for two months of intensive bible training.

May 11, 2006
For the first time, a sitting U.S. President met a group of Chinese house church scholars at his private residence in the White House. President George W. Bush, along with Vice-President Dick Cheney, National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley, White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolton, Presidential Senior Advisor Michael Gerson and White House Press Secretary Tony Snow were briefed about current state of religious freedom in China. The Chinese delegates include: Mr. Yu Jie, bestselling author and elder of the Beijing Ark House Church; Mr. Wang Yi, a religious freedom defender and professor of law at Chengdu University, Sichuan province; and Dr. Li Baiguang, named “Person of the Year” in Asia in 2005 for his courageous civil education work for the rule of law among the farmers and religious minority groups.
