Brother Yun at China Aid Event

Brother Yun, whose story is told in the best-selling Christian book of 2003, The Heavenly Man, by Paul Hattaway (Monarch Publications) came together with Bob Fu, president and founder of China Aid Association at CAA’s First Annual Spring Fundraiser.

The gathering happened on April 19, 2007 in Midland, Texas where Brother Yun, world renowned speaker and author, shared his testimony of perseverance, faith, and hope, as well as accounts of many other Chinese Christians.

From a life of poverty, Brother Yun reached thousands of Chinese with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His preaching and example led many to peacefully endure government persecution. Chinese authorities relentlessly pursued him across several provinces, viewing him as a rebel for not joining the official government-controlled Christian church. During his imprisonment, Brother Yun was tortured and malnourished. He miraculously escaped from a maximum security prison, despite two broken legs. In 2003, Yun released his autobiography, named 2003 Christian Book of the Year by the Christian Booksellers Convention, and now available in more than 20 languages.
