Equipping Church Leaders

Discipleship and equipping are a foundational keys to the Kingdom of God.

In addition to the Apostle Paul’s instructions to Timothy, he imparted the principles of discipleship and equipping to the saints in Ephesus. “It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,” Paul wrote, “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-13).

To this end, China Aid has, since 2005, invited 25 Christian legal scholars, lawyers and house church leaders to America for training in the law, Christian worldview and biblical stewardship.

We have sent Christian leaders from the West to train more than 500 house church leaders in China in the areas of biblical counseling, biblical studies and Christian ethics.

We have sponsored Christian legal scholars and attorneys to provide legal defense training to more than 2,000 house church pastors and believers in 15 provinces throughout China.

You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 2:1-3

Our vision is to provide legal and biblical training to at least 1,000 pastors and believers every year, until each house church pastor and lay leader is fully equipped with a solid biblical foundation, leadership skills and the knowledge of how to use the existing legal system to defend themselves and those under their care.
