Authorities detain Christian human rights lawyer Li Chunfu

(Beijing—Aug. 11, 2015) Christian human rights lawyer Li Chunfu, the younger brother of another well-known Christian defense lawyer, Li Heping, was detained on Aug. 1, 2015, less than a month after Li Heping was detained on July 10 in the nation-wide crackdown on human rights lawyers.

According to China Aid’s reporter, Li Chunfu’s home was entered at around 10 p.m. on Aug. 1 and searched. At that time, he was detained.
