(Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province—August 07, 2021) On August 7, Police arrested nine leaders from Golden Lampstand Church, an influential House Church in Taiyuan City.* Since 2009, prior to Chinese Communist Party authorities/contracted demolition workers totally destroying/bombing the church building in 2019, most of the nine Christians arrested today had served from 4–7 years in jail. Pastor Yang Rongli served seven years before being released in 2016.
Currently, CCP authorities continue to harshly persecute this House Church with an estimated more than 50,000 to 60000 members.
