40 House Church Leaders Detained in Inner Mongolia Released

China Aid Association
February 27, 2008
CAA has learned that the 40 ministers detained in Inner Mongolia along with a South Korean Minister, have been released on February 27. The leaders were detained on February 20, 2008 while attending a Biblical training conference.
CAA was quick to bring attention to the case and to the increase in persecution amongst members of the House Church Alliance. The release of these members is an encouraging step in achieving religious freedom and rule of law in China. We continue to exhort Chinese Government officials to allow Christians to worship in freedom and to allow the House Church Alliance to help achieve the goal of a Harmonious Society.
Issued by CAA  February 27, 2008
