(Los Angeles—Oct. 9, 2019) American pastor Michael Yu has boarded a flight from China to the United States months after he was barred from leaving.

Chinese officials detained 20 Christians, including Yu, on April 4. He was later released but banned from leaving China. After months of being held in China against his will, he has been allowed to board a flight to Los Angeles today.

Yu has often traveled to and from China in order to share his faith with those involved in business.
