BBC News Reports on Human Rights Lawyer Gao Zhisheng’s Imprisonment in Xinjiang

CAA Editor: The BBC World Service Newshour on Sunday interviewed Gao Zhisheng’s brother Gao Zhiyi and ChinaAid president Bob Fu about the latest development in the case of Christian human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng, who had disappeared into police custody nearly two years ago and whom authorities in mid-December announced was being sent to prison for three years. On Sunday, his brother Gao Zhiyi received a notification from a remote prison in the region of Xinjiang in far western China saying that Gao Zhisheng was imprisoned there.
