Beijing Shouwang Church Announcement on Outdoor Worship Service on November 18, 2012

[image2.png]Dear brothers and sisters:

Peace in the Lord! On this past Sunday, we held the forty-seventh outdoor worship service of this year. It was a sunny day. As far as we know, at least fourteen believers were taken away from locations near the platform. Some of them were released soon after they were taken away from the platform, and the rest of them were detained at Zhongguancun Street police station and another police station. All of them got released before 12:00pm on Sunday.

Although we are concerned about possible changes of the environment, we know that our hope and joy does not come from it, but come from our Lord Jesus Christ. We are disciples of Christ, and He has given us freedom, which can be enjoyed under each circumstance. We do not know how much longer this battle will last; yet we hope that we can still have joy from God under such a circumstance. Just as Paul encourages us: “my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord.” (Philippians 3:1) For the joy from the Lord is our source of strength to follow Him to the end.

May peace and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the mercy and love of Father God, and the console and guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Advocate, be with each brother and sister of Shouwang Church and all the churches who remember Shouwang Church in prayers, from this time on and forevermore! Amen.
