Bob Fu testifying the Lantos Human Rights Commission on July 13.
(Washington, D.C.—July 13, 2021) The Lantos Human Rights Commission’s “State of Religious Freedom Around the Globe” July 13 conference coincides with the nongovernmental International Religious Freedom Summit July 13-15. During the seminar, a panel of experts, including Bob Fu, PhD., president of ChinaAid, Sam Brownback, ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom during President Donald Trump‘s administration, and Congressman French Hill (Republican) examine the status of religious freedom throughout the world.
In China, one of the four countries* critically threatening religious freedom, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) increasingly persecutes Christians, and individuals of other faiths. In his testimony, Dr. Fu recounts the CCP’s recurring, routine rigorous persecution of individuals and groups, documented in the ChinaAid 2020 Persecution Report.
