CCP launches massive movement to annex private enterprises in China

(China Aid Commentator — Sept. 27, 2020) In recent years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) totalitarian ruling group has used a State-owned Enterprise Reform Mixed-Ownership System to initiate a wave of irrational arrests and murders of private business owners. As authorities have jailed large numbers of private business owners, they have also confiscated their properties. Typical cases of these human right’s violations include those of Huaiqing Li, former business owner of Fuhuadian Company, a private enterprise in Chongqing City, and the case of Congyang Xu (specifics unknown), a private business owner from Hubei Province.

Authorities detained another person who had planted 800,000 trees in Shandong Province, charging him of the crime of deforestation. In addition to confiscating this citizen’s private real estate in Pingyao, Shanxi Province, officials banned private grain stores. These actions imply that the CCP has launched a movement of confiscating private property, eliminating these enterprises.

Under the document, “Opinions on Strengthening United Front Work in Private Economy in a New Era,” the CCP has launched a massive movement to annex private enterprises. (Historically, this annexing movement never ended, but currently expresses itself in different forms).

Today, the CCP publicizes ideas of carrying out the “so-called” united front work in private enterprises, but then clearly counter-proposes that these businesses should be encouraged to participate in mixed-ownership reform. This serves as an ultimatum to business owners in China. Owners maintain the hope to live only when they kneel before the CCP, permitting this totalitarian group to manipulate and dispose of their property and their destiny. Otherwise, using the excuse of optimization, and fabricating economic crimes, authorities imprison or eliminate these private business owners.

What course should China’s private enterprises follow in what has become an unavoidable choice of life and death?

The CCP maintains its hostile attitude towards universal values such as human freedom, equality, and dignity; systematically destroying all elements of free development under market competition. Currently, as the CCP methodically expropriates private enterprises that have grown despite difficulties since China’s reform and opening, these tyrannical tactics declare to the world that the nature of this regime has not changed for the better.
