David Aikman talks about China’s House Church, Wikileaks and North Korea (Audio)

David Aikman, former Time Magazine Beijng bureau chief and author of “Jesus in Beijing: How Christianity is Transforming China and Changing the Global Balance of Power,” was interviewed live on The Don Kroah Show (105.1 FM WAVA, Arlington, Virginia) on Thursday Dec. 9 about Operation Deterrence, the Chinese government crackdown on house churches that was launched on Dec. 1. As part of the crackdown, the Communist Party labeled house churches a “cult,” citing as a reason the fact that house church Christians want China to be Christianized. Aikman’s book was probably the first to raise the possibility of a Christianized China, an idea that was scoffed at when the book was first released in 2003.
