Mao Minzi.  Christian name: John.  Male.  Date of birth: October 20, 1953.  Han Nationality.  ID No.: 41032319531020451X.  He has completed an education of junior high school level and is a resident of the village.  His household registration is at Cangtou Police Station of Xin’an County.  Current address: Group 23, Yangshi Village, Cangtou Township, Xin’an County.
Facts and evidence of violation of the law:
On January 11, 2008, Mao Minzi, along with Wang Xiuzhen (at another location), organized an illegal religious gathering attended by several dozen people at the residence of Wang Xiuzhen at Zhang Village, Cangtou Township of Xin’an County.  A large number of illegal religious books and discs were found.

Pursuant to Clause 4, Article 10 and Article 13 of “Pilot Program for Re-education Through Labor,” it is decided to place Mao Minzi on re-education through labor for one year.  He was detained before the re-education through labor whose term is to be shortened by one day for each day spent in detention.  The term of the re-education through labor starts from November 3, 2008 and ends on November 2, 2009.
If you do not accept this decision, you may apply for administrative reconsideration at Luoyang Municipal People’s Government (address: Municipal Bureau of Legal Affairs) or Henan Provincial Re-education Management Committee (address: Legislative Affairs Section of Provincial Department of Public Security) within 60 days after receiving this decision statement.  You may also submit an administrative litigation directly at People’s Court within three months after receiving this decision statement.

This decision statement exists in six copies and a copy shall be submitted respectively to the work unit, place of labor, the person placed under re-education through labor and their family, the victim and one copy shall be kept in the archive.
