The House
Church Won the Court Case-OCURRENCENCE
AND RESULT OF THE MAY 31 RELIGIOUS CASE IN LINYI, SHANDONG

November 19, 2007
At about 7 a.m. on May 31, 2007, as we were having breakfast after the
prayer, several dozens of policemen with police batons in their hands broke
into the courtyard of my house.  They
ordered us not to move and lined us in a row for their lecture. They said we
had violated the law and then divided the believers in groups each of which
consisted of six people.  They took away
the people in groups.  After that, they searched
the site of the gathering without presenting any documentations.  They not only hauled away all the objects at
the site of gathering (including stereo, air-conditioner, electric fans, music
equipment, etc.), they also searched the bags of all the people there.  Finally, they broke into my private bedroom
where they turned up everything.  They
hauled away over 300 Bibles, over 600 other books, many computers, three
copiers, DVD players, Ping Pong tables, over 900 yuan of case and other private
belongings.

After this incident occurred, the news went to Beijing and Brother Zhang Mingxuan helped us
find an attorney for a lawsuit.  First,
we went to the government for a reconsideration.  After we did not get any results in two
months, we sued Hedong District Branch of Public Security Bureau at the court.  Though there were many detours in the process,
we finally got the date of the court and Attorney Wu Liancheng accompanied us
to the court.  Yet, the public security
bureau did not appear in court on that day.

The court did not have any other choice but set up another date for the court
appearance.  Thank the Lord.  Before the court opened, the public security
bureau capitulated and returned all the objects on November 17, 2007.  In addition to that, they invited me to a
meal and were very polite.  All glory of
this belongs to God of Trinity.  Hallelujah!  We have triumphed!
