(Dallas–April 2, 2013) ChinaAid is facilitating a live online chat hosted by The George W. Bush Institute with blind Chinese lawyer and human rights activist Chen Guangcheng about freedom and the rule of law on Wednesday April 3.
Chen’s one-hour live discussion will be with Ambassador Jim Glassman, founding executive director of The George W. Bush Institute in Dallas.

Also on Wednesday, President Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush will meet with Chen, his wife Yuan Weijing, and their son and daughter, as well as ChinaAid founder and president Bob Fu, at their private quarters in the new Bush Institute.
Chen and his family are to be honored tonight, Tuesday April 2, at ChinaAid’s annual banquet in Midland, Texas, where he will be awarded the 2013 “Religious Freedom and Rule of Law Defenders Award.” The 2012 award went to three mainland Chinese lawyers.
