Kidnapped Christian Lawyer Returns Home

(Beijing– April 19, 2011) Jiang Tianyong, one of several prominent Christian human rights lawyers who were kidnapped on February 19 and have been missing for two months, finally returned home at 6 p.m. Beijing time on April 19, 2011. Bob Fu, president of ChinaAid, has learned from Jiang Tianyong’s wife Jin Bianling, that the lawyer lost much weight but is in good spirits. It seems very probable that, during a period of being detained by the National Security forces, he suffered much physically.
