(Linxia, Gansu—April 2, 2020) A food shortage has hit China’s Gansu province, according to a leaked document from the Chinese Communist Party’s Linxia Prefecture Committee.

The document states the Committee held a conference on March 17 and urged officials to study Chinese President Xi Jinping’s speeches, stockpile daily necessities, and investigate how much food people have already compiled.

They are suggesting that each household within their jurisdiction should have three-six months of food stored up just in case it is needed.

A full translation of the document is forthcoming.
