Shandong: City inspectors abuse power, tear down People’s Liberation Army guardhouse

On September 4, 2013, a fight broke out in a military compound between city inspectors and officials from the People’s Liberation Army in Qingdao, Shandong Province. Hundreds of city inspectors blocked the guardroom beside the gate of the military compound. 

The incident began when a city inspector rushed into the military compound where he was knocked down by soldiers. City inspectors outnumbered the soldiers, which caused the soldiers to flee. The inspectors then used an excavator to demolish the guardhouse, as shown in the video below.
