Two Christians Still in Prison for Protesting Dangshanwan Christian Church Destruction

China Aid Association
(ZHEJIANG  — November 17, 2008) Christians, Wang Weiliang and Shen Zhuke, are still in prison in the western suburb of Hangzhou more than two years after they protested the July 2006 destruction of Dangshanwan Christian Church building in Xiaoshan, Zhejiang province. Six other Christians who received lighter sentences have been already released. The members of Dangshanwan Christian Church have still not been able to rebuild their church building legally since its destruction. A Chinese Christian recently wrote commentary on this case for ChinaAid. Read commentary.
