(Lishui, Zhejiang–May 11, 2015) The crosses topping approximately 17 Christian churches in the Chinese coastal city of Lishui were forcibly removed between Thursday and Saturday.
On Saturday afternoon, three dozen public security bureau agents forced their way into Pingyuan Church where they removed the cross, beat church members, including a 70-year-old woman, and arrested three leaders: Zhao Lizhong, He Zhuangquan and Moses Hu. The officers did not show the church members any legal paperwork.
