UPDATE: 25 Shouwang Church Members Detained in Week 7

(Beijing – May 22, 2011) In week 7 of the church-state standoff in Beijing between one of the capital’s largest house churches and the government, police detained 25 Shouwang Church members who once again showed up at the church’s designated outdoor worship site on Sunday, according to ChinaAid sources.
By nightfall Sunday, 18 of those detained had been released.
