On July 14, Achu, a Christian, received a notice from the Religious Affairs Bureau (RAB) in Deqin county, Yunnan Province, which banned him from having fellowship in his home. Achu also received a phone call from the local Three-Self Patriotic Movement affiliated church, threatening him not to make any trouble or call any attention to the situation if Achu wanted to protect his family. The RAB issued a notice, which can be seen at the right, titled “A note banning Christian fellowship in a private home.”
