Beijing Shouwang Church Announcement on Outdoor Worship Service on January 15, 2012

Dear brothers and sisters:

Since the indoor meeting place the church rented for Sunday service cannot be used as the government interfered for many times, the church made a decision last Friday to continue to have outdoor worship service on the third platform of Zhongguancun Square.

As far as we know, on Sunday morning, at least nineteen believers were taken away for going to the planned location to join the outdoor service, either at the spot or on their way there. Except some individuals were released on the way, most believers were sent to three local police stations of their respective area. Till 23:00 at night on Sunday, all the believers were released home.

Many believers already went back to hometown and many are getting ready to go home for the Spring Festival. However, many believers who remain in Beijing continue to attend outdoor worship service, and many believers continue to go to different police stations to accompany believers detained and to pick them home when they are released. We are very grateful for them. We also send our best wishes to each believer, whether at home or in Beijing, that each one will have a blessed and restful holiday with family and friends, and that each one will have the opportunity to share the Gospel and to witness for the Lord to family and friends.

May peace and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the mercy and love of Father God, and the console and guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Advocate, be with each brother and sister of Shouwang Church and all the churches who remember Shouwang Church in prayers, from this time on and forevermore! Amen.
