Fu is currently on a two-week tour of Europe that began last weekend at the “Church in Chains” annual conference near Dublin, Ireland, where he was a guest speaker. A video of his presentation is here:; and our earlier report about the Church in Chains conference is here:
Fu expressed appreciation and gratitude for all the ChinaAid supporters who have been lifting up his travels and meetings in prayer.

On Friday morning, Fu was a guest on London’s Premier Christian Radio, where he was interviewed by host Andy Walton. Fu talked about religious persecution in general, as well as specific cases of persecution and the propaganda motive of Bible exhibition sent by China’s official church, the Three-Self Patriotic Movement, that will be touring the United States later this fall.

photoFriday afternoon, Fu met with British diplomats on the China Desk at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where he briefed them about religious freedom and the rule of law in China, as well as specific persecution cases, including that of “disappeared” human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng and other Christian human rights lawyers. He urged the diplomats to visit blind activist Chen Guangcheng, whose illegal house arrest situation is deteriorating rapidly and who reportedly is soon to be moved into a special prison built just for him and his wife.
On Saturday morning, Fu was interviewed live by the BBC World Service at the BBC’s headquarters, and on Saturday evening, he was the main speaker at a regional meeting in Birmingham of Release International (
On Sunday, Fu is scheduled to speak at Carnmoney Church, one of the largest churches in Belfast, Northern Ireland. On Tuesday, he and a member of parliament, Gavin Shuker, will be addressing a prayer breakfast at the annual Labor Party congress in Liverpool. Meetings with other UK officials and media interviews are also planned.
Also on the schedule for the week is a Sept. 29 interview with Revelation TV in its London studios.
