Latest Updates on Chinese Travelers to the Lausanne Congress

On October 15, 2010, four house church Christians intending to travel to South Africa to attend the Lausanne Congress were stopped by customs officials in ChengDu Airport in Sichuan province.

Later that afternoon, eight underground Christians were stopped at customs at the Beijing International Airport, and in the evening, 15 were stopped at the same airport.

Early in the morning on October 16, Beijing International Airport customs officials turned back five more invitees of the congress.

All of the house church representatives from ChengDu City, Sichuan province were taken away from the Shuangliu airport.
