(California — April 4, 2026) On April 4, a ceremony was held at Liberty Sculpture Park in California to mark the completion of a statue of human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng (高志晟). At the invitation of the organizer, Liberty Sculpture Park, Dr. Bob Fu, President of ChinaAid, delivered a brief speech at the unveiling ceremony of the Gao Zhisheng statue.
Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, defenders of freedom—
We gather today at Liberty Sculpture Park not merely to unveil a statue,
but to confront a moral crisis.
This is not just remembrance—
this is resistance.

Gao Zhisheng
Gao Zhisheng is not missing by accident.
He was disappeared by a system that fears truth.
A lawyer who defended the persecuted,
tortured, silenced, erased.
Since 2017, no answers.

And Gao Zhisheng is not alone.

known to God, if not to the world.
As Scripture says:

Systemic Crimes
More than one million Uyghurs detained.
Forced labor feeds global supply chains.
Churches destroyed.
Faith criminalized.
This is not internal policy—
this is a crime against humanity.
Direct Policy Challenge
So let us be clear—
Human rights are not optional.
They are God-given.
And therefore, they are non-negotiable.
No trade deal—
no tariff negotiation—
no economic partnership—
should move forward
while innocent people disappear into darkness.
To American leaders—
If we claim to stand for freedom,
then we must act with moral clarity.
As Scripture declares:
“Open your mouth for the mute… defend the rights of the poor and needy.” — Proverbs 31:8–9
Demand proof of life for Gao Zhisheng.
Demand the release of all prisoners of conscience.
Make human rights the condition—
not the afterthought—
of every agreement.
If we stay silent,
we are not neutral.
we are complicit.
Faith without action is empty.
And justice without courage is impossible.
This statue is not a decoration.
It is a testimony.
That truth cannot be buried.
That God sees what the world ignores.
And that justice will come.
