(Shanghai, bordered by Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces—Jan. 28, 2021) On January 28, prominent Chinese human rights activist Guo Feixiong (born Yang Maodon) reported to ChinaAid that Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leaders had blocked him from boarding his scheduled flight to visit Zhang Qin, his critically-ill wife.*
In the story, Chinese activist Guo Feixiong banned from flight to visit sick wife in US, AppleDaily reports:
… On Thursday, he [Guo Feixiong] arrived at Shanghai’s Hongqiao Airport from Guangzhou but was prevented from leaving the country. Officials stopped him from departing because he would be “endangering national security.”
… According to Front Line Defenders, Guo has defended farmers illegally evicted from their land, Falun Gong practitioners persecuted for their beliefs and journalists who dared to speak out. …
In 2015, the Dublin-based human rights organization Front Line Defenders recognized Mr. Guo for his work in social and political activism as well as in investigating and exposing alleged abuse and corruption in China.
Years ago, Dr. Bob Fu, founder and president of ChinaAid, rescued Ms. Zhang and her two children out of China, successfully relocating them to Midland, Texas. He recounts this story in a chapter of his autobiography, God’s Double Agent. Dr. Fu perceives the CCP barring Mr. Guo from visiting his critically-ill wife as “a shameful inhumane act by the Party’s top leaders.”

Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity;
Yes, he conceives trouble
and brings forth falsehood.
