(Nanle County, Henan — November 15, 2025) Pastor Zhang Shaojie from Nanle county, Henan province was released back home being escorted by police a moment ago today after serving exactly 12 years in prison.
Pastor Zhang Shaojie expressed his deep gratitude for the prayers and efforts by the global Body of Christ for his freedom and his family during his 12 years imprisonment. Pastor Zhang said,
‘coming out of prison during this month of Thanksgiving has been full of God’s grace — I have seen the Holy Spirit’s presence every day. I am deeply grateful for help and support of the international community ; otherwise, I might not be here today and might have been ‘disappeared.’
