(Taiyuan, Shanxi Province—Dec. 31, 2020) At 10:45 pm on December 30, after Public Security Bureau (PSB) officers raided the home Bible study of Pastor An Yankui, minister of Xuncheng Reformed Church in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, Ms. Yao Congya, Pastor An’s wife posted an urgent prayer request. In her post requesting intercessory prayer, Ms. Yao said, “While eight Christians were studying the Bible at our home tonight, approximately three dozen security agents barged in. After they forcibly restrained those studying, they searched our home. Officials confiscated our church’s choir robe vests and Christian books. After they handcuffed my husband and five Christian sisters, PBS officers transported them to the police station. I was not taken away because of our small child.
“… I have not heard any news about my husband or our five sisters in the faith, nor of their possible release.”

But when they arrest you and deliver you up,
do not worry beforehand,
or premeditate what you will speak.
But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that;
for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
