WE STILL REMEMBER: CANDLELIGHT PRAYER VIGIL FOR PERSECUTED BELIEVERS IN CHINA
(LOS ANGELES–August 24, 2009) Tonight at 8:00 PM (PST), Bob Fu, President of ChinaAid, will be speaking at a Candlelight Prayer Vigil in Los Angeles, CA, in remembrance of victims of religious persecution in China. The evening’s events will be staged at the Chinese Consulate General’s Office located at 443 Shatto Place.
Tonight’s “We Still Remember” Prayer Vigil will include a silent march to the Chinese Consulate General’s Office, prayers and remarks by Pastor Romero of the “Gadfly Project,” three testimonials from former Chinese prisoners, a remembrance of five specific Chinese prisoners, a review of Chinese government actions, and a concluding time for silent prayer.
President of ChinaAid Bob Fu calls all believers to pray for the assemblies, and for the persecuted believers in China. He further requests prayer for those human rights lawyers and families fighting on behalf of persecuted believers, who share in their suffering.
The event will be held in two staging areas, one for Chinese participants, and one for Non-Chinese and American participants:
